Dr. Eliot Edwards earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Chemistry from SUNY, Oneonta in 1990 and his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree in 2002 from National College of Naturopathic Medicine. He became a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO) in April of 2013.


Dr.  Edwards was in private practice in upstate New York from 2002-2009. In 2009 he joined the Naturopathic Medicine Department at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, in Zion, IL.  He was also a Clinical Instructor for the Naturopathic Medicine Program at National University of Health Science from January 2012 until August of 2012.


Dr. Edwards is passionate about the integration of conventional and holistic medicine and has lectured extensively on Naturopathic Medicine to patient groups as well as health care providers and physicians.  He co-presented his study results of Maitake Mushroom extracts against pancreatic cancer cells at the 2011 Society of Integrative Medicine conference held at the Cleveland Clinic.


Dr. Edwards has been involved with state naturopathic associations since his graduation in 2002. He served as the Vice President of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians when he lived in New York.  Since he came to Illinois, he has been involved with the Illinois Association of Naturopathic Physicians serving on the board as Vice President and President of the ILANP. He heads up the efforts to license Naturopathic Physicians in Illinois.
