Experts in Natural and Preventative Medicine
Naturopathic Doctors are trained as primary care physicians in 4-year, federally accredited doctoral level naturopathic medical schools and sit for two professional board exams to be eligible for licensure. Their training enables them to diagnose, prevent and treat acute and chronic illness in licensed states. Naturopathic Doctors restore optimal health by identifying the root cause of disease and support the body’s innate ability to heal itself.
Naturopathic practice includes the following diagnostic and therapeutic modalities: clinical and laboratory diagnostic testing, nutritional medicine, botanical medicine, naturopathic physical medicine (including naturopathic manipulations), public health measures, hygiene, counseling, minor surgery, homeopathy, acupuncture, prescription medication, intravenous and injection therapy, and naturopathic obstetrics (natural childbirth).
